Band of HM Royal Marines CTCRM
Maestros in Motion - March 25th 2009
This event will take place on Wed 25th March 2009 between 0800 and 2000 hrs.
It will consist of seven static bikes placed in a squash court where members of CTC band will aim to cycle, at least the distance of Deal to Torpoint.
Three of the bikes will be used by band members and another three are available for people working within CTC to come along and 'try' to beat us. This just gives the band members another incentive and prevents boredom whilst cycling.
The eighth bike is being used by musician Ollie Hurrell who is intending on cycling constantly for the whole twelve hours!
We are raising money by donation and sponsorship and would like any money for this event to come through Lympstone band as a separate event from bandies on bikes. This way we have our own total which can be presented to the three charities. Our address is:

The idea of holding this event separate to Bandies on Bikes was so that members of CTC band could have their own input into raising money for the three charities and as a way of doing
something in Major Kelly's and Corporal Thomson's memory as they were both members of this band.
